Many banks welcome people own a credit card of it,to get this target, they make each own preferential measure to attract customers, such as free year fee, giving gift to the new customer, etc.credit card could be use to pay bills the same as cash.somebody think the former has more convenients than the latter, for you needn't to take small changes with you to pay a bill.what's your opinion?

I seldom buy things because i like doing and thinking of my own things when i am free.I like the feeling of lonely now.Maybe i am old now and out of ages.So I think there is no need for me to get a credit card.I usually buy things by cash. That is convenient for me too.

I absolutely love the fact of having a credit and debit card. For me my debit card - its basically a credit card but draws directly from whats in my bank account - is an easy way to monitor theft protection. If my wallet gets stolen yes they're getting access to my account and my money but I can show the bank that the card got stolen and all my money will be refunded. But if I used cash and I had $200 in cash in my wallet when that wallet gets stolen there is no way for me to get my money back. And with my credit card its only on emergency basis. Like when I had a $1300 cost for fixing my laptop while in college or when I need to pay the $500 for my books and my scholarship money hasn't been processed yet etc. I don't go to the extreme with it like some people do. Now I do carry cash with me. For me I always have an emergency $20 in my wallet due to the fact I have gone to places where you have to spend a certain amount to use your card or its more of a mom and pop place where they just don't accept cards. And then my grandparents always said that taxis don't accept cards (they might not but I've never had to use one) and so therefore if my car broke down I had money to pay for a cab etc.

for me cash is the way to go, even if i have to buy something really expensive, i save up for it and buy it in cash, i dont like the thought of having to pay for the interest :)

For me i prefer to pay it by cash than credit card. I am a credit card holder but never use it in buying unless it is very important and my cash on hand is not enough to buy that very important thing. Credit card is good when you are not a shopaholic because you can keep control but if you think you are a shopaholic forget the credit card and save cash to buy your thing. Credit card is very convenient but when the due date came it will lead you to a problem.

No question about it. Credit cards are very convenient and removes the need for carrying cash. I use credit cards when travelling because I do not like to carry too much cash on the journey. But, one has to keep control on the use of the card, less the debt will mount enormously.

I always pay with cash and it's a good thing. Credit can be easily abused and when it comes to paying, you get more problems when your income is less than your expenses.
