I know if anyone is like me humid summers tend to kill my hair and I'm constantly looking online for products to help manage and frizz and puffiness while looking for regimens to use to just get my hair back to its shiny self since I'm constantly straightening and dying it. So I figured why not have mylotters share their hair regimens here and therefore everyone can learn something new. I know a thing I just recently read is about how to take a shower properly and I finally found a use for why people can use those shower caps. I never knew that by washing your hair using hot water you are actually not allowing the follicles to close therefore all those moisturizer additives in your shampoo and conditioner aren't doing anything for your hair so instead its best to either have your hair up while using hot water for the shower or use a shower cap and then while washing your hair use either warm water and then at the never end go back through with cold water to close up the follicles. I just began to try it out so I guess its going to take a couple of weeks for me to see how well it actually works but hopefully it will.

hi another. . i think i have just about given up trying to fight the humidity and the frizz that it brings to my hair! For me there is nothing better than a good hair day . for i love when my hair is soft and straight . .but comes the summer and my hair just looks like I plugged myself into an electric socket . .that is if i try to make it straight . .so this summer I gave in . and i am letting it go . .and you know what i found. . I am saving alot of time and money . . by letting nature do its thing .. and after a few weeks of no blow drying . .my hair is soft and the natural wave and curl that is coming out is kinda pretty!

Try Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Line...it works wonders with the frizz or Matrix sleek looks line...also some type of gloss or silk drops will help with the frizz...or a leave-in conditioner...if you color or perm your hair make sure you are using professional products cuz it will make your color or perm last longer & will make your hair less dry or damaged...I know with the economy people are looking to save a buck or two so maybe they can't afford professional products, but at least please stay away from the really cheap stuff like Suave & V05...they do nothing for your hair... As far as washing your hair goes, its great to rinse your conditioner with cool water cuz it will close the cuticle, but you don't have to do your whole shamppoing with cool water, unless you really like too...does feel invigorating especially on a hot & humid day... in case you were wondering I am a licensed costmetologist...
