Dish Network currently under court orders to fine $5.9 million in the violation of customer protection laws. Those misconducts include telemarketing to customers who already file do-not-call protection; failed to disclosed customers agreement and terms in the service they sign up to; irresponsible of third party services, such as installation and retailing; etc....... So, if you file complaint to Dish - Network before, you may eligible to qualify their restitution program. In addition to it, other satellite TV services also should learn a lesson from it.

I don't think its only television services that need to learn this lesson - there are many companies that are doing the same exact thing but a lot of time people just don't take the time to report the situation. I know for us there have been companies that keep calling even when I tell them not to call. But the ones that annoy me the most are the ones that show as unavailable on my caller id and then when you answer there is no one on the other line. I can't wait to see a big uproar about companies getting into deep trouble about selling emails.
