There is a saying'We all want to have a long life, but we fear ageing'. Is it possible to have a long life and yet remain young forever? Why are men and women scared of ageing? Why do men and women go out of their way trying various methods, either to slow down ageing or to hide age?

I do not fear aging. When I turned 40 I thought it was fine, but didn't want to reach 50. I had a ball at 50! I wasn't frightened of aging, but the thought of being 60 was a bit mind-blowing. At 60 I thought life was just about beginning: it was wonderful! - but I didn't want to be 70. Now I am 73 and I don't think life could be any better than it is right now. Why would anyone fear aging? Of course, I am not looking forward to having to admit to being 80 in 7 years time, but I do not fear it. It is simply a mental blockage because I KNOW I am still young. Take heart. Being old is wonderful!
