Hello guys, I don't know if dried fish is internationally distributed. I guess Asian countries has it. It is one of our food appetizers. If you love to eat dried fish, how do you like it cook? Me? I love it fried and that's what we are cooking right now...like it? Wait a minute we have to eat first...

I am not that fond of dried fish. However, when I was abroad... this is one of my favorite delicacies. Every time I hear a friend coming from the Philippines, I'd beg him or her to bring me some dried fish. Now that I am back in the Philippines...again, I don't eat it...lol! Weird, ei?

I do love dried fish. We do have a good supply here in our area considering that we are very near an island which usually supplies dried fish to the market. Its really nice when its fried with a little vinegar and chili as sauce.

Hi there! I love dried fish! Well, I am Filipino and most of us do, I believe. I love it especially when it's cooked in really hot cooking oil that it becomes really crispy. I also love eating it with tomatoes or vinegar.

I really like dried fish. It is very delicious and if you eat it you can have a lot of rice to consume because it is salty. I like it when it is fried and I like it also when it is cooked with coconut milk in it. We call that in Philippines as "ginataan" that is very delicious. You can add many vegetables on it with the coconut milk and the dried fish. whew, it would be a very tempting meal for everybody.

Yep I like driedfish for breakfast. I like it fried and dip in hot vinegar or with kalamansi. I also like the small small dried fish you call it dilis but we call it bulinaw, cooked in sugar and with lots of chili peppers. Then there's a different kind where you grilled it on hot charcoal and it with leftover rice in the afternoon for snacks hahaha.

I like eating dried fish together with vinegar as sauce and fried rice and some tomatoes and salty egg as side dish. I love eating dried fish in the morning but not regularly since salty foods are not good for me.

I love eating dried fish like tuyo, daing and dilis. It is good to eat it during rainy days. Our breakfast is tuyo I love to dip it with vinegar and chilis. Everytime we have a relatives coming for Iloilo it is our request pasalubong to them. My aunt have a tuyo business in Iloilo and her tuyo and daing is not that salty. We should also watched out our sodium intake.

A happy sunday my friend. I love dried fish specially with tomatoes. It's great for breakfast. Sometimes, we pair them with "pork sinigang" for lunch. But, because it's too salty, we try to limit eating. You know it's bad for hypertensive people. Happy 95th anniversary to our affiliation.

a lot of people like dried fish. am not one of them. i'm not trying to act up or anything but i throw up with too much salt in my food. guess my dislike for it's smell is a sign for my body to avoid it due to my allergy.

I do like fried fish as my appetizer in eating time. I dont want it daily I'm afraid to have a kidney problem just a little twice in a week. Its so nice to eat dried fish after always having meat and vegetables too. I can eat many rice in a meals if there is dried fish.

Yes that's also the problem, you can't control the rice you would take if you have dried fish in your meals..but, you're right twice a week with control is enough...thanks for responding...

I love dried fish. I love it especially during rainy season. I crave more for it when the season is cold. At breakfast, I love having dried fish with fried rice. It has always been good to have heavy breakfast, and nothing beats fried rice and fried fish. Yummy!!!

love it. that's one of the delicacies where you don't have to worry about the shelf life. Plus you can cook it any way you want, be it with vegetables or just plainly dried fish with vinegar. Yummy... Makes me all the more hungry.
