When you ask someone a question why can they not answer it properly even if they are asked over the phone or face to face let alone answer a question on paper?

Maybe it is becasue they don't know the answer to the question they are being asked. If it is a personal question and the person does not really know how they feel to give a proper answer then there is really no since in giving an answer if it is niot a truthful one or one that beats around what you are trying to give as a n answer. Some topics are hard to answer a question in so instead of answering it they will take it to a different subject all together to get away from answering the question they were asked. I know alot of people that do this and it is down becasue they may not want to hurt somwone by telling them the truth. flutterby

Hi jugsjugs, There is a few reason why people tent to give a wrong answer for any question 1. Force to give an answer They didn't have a knowledge on that particular topics but they were force to give an answer. This happen mostly in examination. 2. Communication breakdown. This happen especially if asked person have a different interpretation from what are expected by the person who ask that question. Its happen mostly if there is a languages barrier between this people. 3. Try to make fun Some people always try to make fun of everything. They know the exact answer for that particular question but prefer to answer it differently. 4. The question is to subjective Subjective question will hardly have a same answer from a different people or culture. If you ask someone like "Aren't she beautiful", you can expected a different answer. Beauty is very subjective and there is no exact answer for it. A different people with a different common sense and culture tent to give a different answer for the very same question.

I do not know the answer to this question and it could be due to lack of comprehension or take on the subject matter. Maybe there are things occupying that persons mind, or maybe, he just finds it difficult to form the answers.

Perhaps it's because you are asking the wrong questions. Try a different approach. I forgot who said this but he is quite clever and I never forget the quote itself: "Insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results."

hi buddy! as far as i am concerned, I really go with meeting face to face. People tend to answer in responsive way when asked face to face rather than phone or any other node. Besides, we can see the expression on their faces. cheers
