why Cane & not Phillip?

I was wondering if you could tell me why nina is madder at cane than at phillip. it was phillip that put the scheme in motion not cane. i do not like nina and did not like her before. I know if cane had not done it phillip would have found someone to help him out.

Nina thinks he's a scammer, I guess. She doesn't trust his motives. But having heard Philip's explanation, I think she could cut Cane some slack.

yes, phillip's explanation to me was not really that good. cane is a good guy and nina should not blame everything on him. it seems to me that there are others who blame cane alot. thank you for your response. happy mylotting.

I know! I think the writers have totally written them into a corner with so much past history coming to life they kind of lost track of it all! They are mad at Cane and all he did was help Phillip out...but they aren't particularily mad at Phillip ... who doesn't look old enough to have a son about 20... and then the son comes in... and everyone but Kathrine is happy to see him.. she doesn't hardly speak to him! No one has even said a word about why Phillip asked Cane to step in and Nina has not so much as made a single advance to her husband for so much as a little huggie-poo.. yet she supposedly loved him so much...granted she can be mad he did what he did, but at the same time.. did she ever stop loving him? Supposedly not, yet here he is and ... nothing!
The whole thing is so over blown... it has gotten stupid.

i thought the son looked as old as his dad. she had to fine phillip because her son had some disease which i am not sure what it is. phillip got a phone from the doctor but i did not understand what it is that he does not have. they all hugged so i suppose he will be able to help his son. it has gotten stupid. hope it ends soon. thank you for your response. happy mylotting.

I do not watch it regularly either that is probably why i did not know what disease the son had. I did see it when phillip said he did not have the disease and you are right they were happen for phillip but what does that do for his son.
I think she just wanted to fine him so he can help his son. with nina you never know. seeing as he told them why he left and did what he did i do not think nina will have a chance with phillip.

The whole storyline is so stupid...sometimes you can only drag up the past of so many years ago before it just gets stupid and so wildly unbelievable that it just isn't worth even watching.

She loved Phillip and he is the father of her son so perhaps that is one reason she is not as mad at him. Also, Cane is a complete outsider who was lying to everyone.

Sure it is phillips fault. Cane couldn't have done it without Phillip...I thought it was good of Jill yesterday to keep Cane in her will.. stating no matter what.. she will still think of him as her son. That was so NOT like Jill, that maybe she is getting over herself and some good will start to appear!!! I have always liked Jill, but lately she has become a royal pain with her whining to/about Kay. I thought it odd to.. that she did her 3 sons...Phillip, Billy and Cane.. what about her grand son Chance? I'd a put him in there too but I guess they have to have something to fight about in later years!

Phillip though is the one who ask and to me he did not have a good reason for what he did. just because he is an outsider is know reason to blame it all on him to me if is phillip fault. thank you for your response. happy mylotting.

I am not really sure why Nina is so angery with Cane. I mean I agree Phillip started this madness. But From what i have noticed Nina has had it in for Cane for so long. I really think Cane is a nice guy whom man a selfish and bad decision but non the less Cane has tried to love everyone.

Unless the mess has missed me... Cane was supposed to be Nina's husband Phillip, wasn't he? The one Kaye switched at birth? The one she raised as Phillip was not her real son... but Cane was? Yet she never once accepted that. Now as no body...she still don't accept him... I say Nina should be ran out of town and stop messing things up!!!

It would be nice to see someone run Nina out of town but now the real Phillip is back it may take awhile. Phillip's son Chance is also home for awhile so nina can stay around a give Cane a hard time.
