What is your favorite type of soup?

All of the soups are my favorite.

I am not usually a soup person, but my favorite soup in the winter is a mushroom soup. If mushroom soup is not available then my next choice would be leek and potato soup. It's very easy to make, boil some cut up leeks and some diced potato, in water with a pinch of salt. Once the potatoes are cooked add some milk or cream and mix it all in the blender. You don't have to put all the water from the cooking process into the blender just enough to obtain the soup consistency, not too liquid not too hard. Enjoy!
