Favorite place to get steaks?

My personal favorite steak place is a place in southern CA (possibly elsewhere but I have not seen any elsewhere) is called Steer n Stein. I would get their California Beef Eater sandwich which (if memory serves me correctly...it's been over a decade since Ive eaten there) was some thinly sliced steak (or possibly roast beef) with some melted monterey jack cheese and a cooked, mild chili pepper. I had some pretty decent steak at Golden Corral for Easter lunch (cooked medium rare of course) and more recently I had an...well it was edible steak at Cracker Barrel (where my steak was awful bloody for a medium rare steak and had LOTS of gristle on it .
