Soft serve?

I like soft serve ice cream in the winter better because it melts faster. I like hand scooped in the winter and colder climates.

I always find this a difficult decision to take as I enjoy ice cream very much in every shape, form or flavour but after considering the matter carefully I have come to the conclusion that I am on the whole a regular scoop person. I do prefer the texture. On the other hand if I was having one of my favourite treats such as strawberries and ice cream, my preference would be for soft scoop. So as you can see there is no easy answer to your question as far as I am concerned. Off to raid the freezer for some regular scoop ice cream or should I try the soft scoop?

I used to like soft serve more but i think now i like regular scoop ice cream better. It just has a better taste. I think soft serve is too sweet maybe.
