How Many Responses Can Constitute A Good Response To A Discussion?

I have always wondered about this. Mylotters send many topics of discussion depending ontheir own understanding and creativity. Not alltopics receive the same response from mylotters. Some have received no responses while some others have single digit responses. Rarely responses have crossed even three figures. My question is- how many responses to a topic can be considered as satisfactory? Responses give us an idea whether our topic of discussion is well received by mylotters or not

I don't really think that the number of responses has a big part in making it a godo discussion. After working with mylot for more than six months, I have felt that the number of responses you get depends on a lot of factors like the topic of the discussion and the time you start the discussion (very very important. If you start a discussion during the time when so many mylotters are onlne, there is chance to get good resposnes even if the topic is not that interesting. Answering your question, I feel like if a discussion gets more than forty responses, I would like to say it is a good discussion. It doesn't mean that the discussion which get very little responses are bad discussions. It depends on the time you start the discussion, I mean the traffic in mylot, and the luck of the discussion starter.
