What do you think about the dream project CHANDRAYAN I? was it a failure? Now they say that it has completed almost 90% of the work. But during the launchin time they were saying that the chandrayan is gonna stay there for atlest 2 years and it takes that much time to complete the project fully. NOW WHAT MADE THEM SAY THAT THEY HAVE COMPLETED 90% of the job?

NO, It's just a minor fault.. was fixed. says ISRO The star sensor used to determine the orientation of the spacecraft towrds the lunar surface started malfunctioning from April 26 due to excessive radiation of the sun while orbiting 100km away from the moon, said the ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair. They used reduntant sensores along with antenna-pointing information to overcome the anomaly The 11 scientific payloads onboard the mooncraft continue to send high quality data s per planned sequence to its ground station - the space agency's Deep Space Network (DSN) at Byalalu
