How Much is Your Rent?

I live in California, which I truly believe is one of the most expensive states to live in. The cost of living here is absolutely ridiculous. I worked in property management for a few years and the apartments I would lease ran from $1085 for our 790 sqft. 1 bedroom apartment up to $1750 for our near 1210 sqft 3 bedroom apartment. These of course are "luxury" apartments that feature gas range stove, fridge, celing fans, granite counter tops, and all sorts of aminities on the communities grounds. I think that these prices are absolutely insane, I rented a one bedroom apartment in an ok neighborhood for $875 but had to bring my own refridgerator and washer and dryer. It also had electric stove which I cant stand and would burn all of my food up. Just out of curiosity incase I decide to move away from Cali, what do you pay for rent??
