Can ponting overtake sachin

The legendary sachin is no 1 in all format of records. Highest run scored in test cricket,oneday ,highest century in test and one day cricket. For the part two years he was not playing regularly due to injuries and missed many series. Now ponting scored quick centuries in test cricket to come closer to sachin. Though sachin is younger than ponting his fitness worries us.do you think ponting can overtake sachin record

Yeh he is an absolute ledgend. I dont think anyone will be able to break his records in One Day Internaionals. He is too far away to catch up with. As far as tests are concerned, Ponting is the only one among present players who can surpass him. It all depends on when they retire. As long as Sachin keeps on playing Ponting has no chance of beating his records. Sachin has been in and out of the team due to injuries throughout his career, hope he can have an injury free last few years.

There is no chance for ponting to overtake Sachin records . Because Sachin will soon come to play matches and put more records . he is considered as a god in cricket . No one play his shots in cricket .
