Okay, I haven't been on in a while, but I've been meaning to start a few discussions. This one is kind of a hodge-podge of those. Those of you that know me, only know me as The Faerie or FaerieAne. I've decided to give you my name. Now, being the private person I am, it isn't my real name, but it is special to me, and it's easier than trying to remember to call myself Faerie. So, hello friends! My name is Parker! Yes, I'm female. Yes, it's a boy's name. So is my "real" name, so that's easy. Now the introduction is over, a bit about myself. I've been a stay home mommy for over 4 years, I returned to school for neuromuscular therapy last October, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and adult phase ADHD simultaneously last February, I'm an Aries, I have a precious 4 year old little boy, I'll be married 5 years in December, I am my husband's second wife, I have a 10 year old stepson, I'm 24, I have brown curly hair and green eyes, I drive a bright red 2002 Chevy that has power brakes (but not power windows or door locks), and my avatar pic is NOT me (I thought she was pretty, too, so I ripped her from some e-magazine). I'd love to know more about you guys too, and I respect your privacy enough to say that you can give as many or few details as you wish. Following HIPAA, I do not want identifying features (unless you want to give me your bank account numbers...lol!). Feel free to ask any questions about me that you want, but I reserve the right to refuse to answer them if I don't want to. Part 2: I Have Too Many Pets, And Animals Annoy Me. I have had a cat since I was 10 and he was 2. He's almost 17, and one of the great loves of my life. My husband has had a cat since he was 22 and the cat was 5 weeks. The cat escaped my husband's ex-wife's "pet purge" she performed the day she packed up and left, and is like a third child to my husband. Somewhere along the way, I decided our boys needed a dog (and I know I don't like dogs), so we got a neurotic beagle that had to go live with my sister, as well as a labrador puppy that our neigbor abandoned and to whom I am now the sole caregiver. Let me reiterate: I DON'T LIKE DOGS. Don't get me wrong, I think dogs are great animals, but they are very needy and time-consuming. Cats are way more self sufficient and low-maintenence, just far easier for me to take care of. At some point we also acquired a half feral female kitten. Our original 2 cats are both neutered males, but the girl is now 1, and has had 2 litters of kittens. First heat, first litter of 5, all survived. We kept 2. Second heat, second litter of 7, all survived, but they were just born last Saturday and she's trying to reject them. I currently have 13 pets!!! Twelve are cats! I am HIGHLY annoyed, because even though I like cats, these have exceeded my limits of both space and patience. Pets that live out of tanks are annoying. Fish and reptiles don't jump the counters to knock off entire stacks of dishes at 1 am. Fish and reptiles don't have litterboxes or vet bills. Fish and reptiles don't bark at passing breezes! High-maintenence people need low-maintenence pets! Part 3: Parker Makes Progress! But Progress Is Slow... My house is wrecked, I have homework to finish, and I'm tired of typing right now. I'll finish this later. Sorry, guys!

I told you years ago that you were going to end up being one of those old ladies with a house full of cats! Yep... I was right. No, I don't want one of them. What does one do about that? LOL. Oh well. How is that boy of yours anyway? You need to call me, as talking to you once every 3 months kinda sucks. And I don't have to identify myself! I can give you my bank account numbers, but I can also assure you that nothing is in them...nothing at all. Love ya anyway!
