I just finished the eleventh grade. Second semester for me was pure hell. Not because the subjects were hard but because my bag was so heavy. I have about 5 textbooks to take home everyday. Each and every book were so thick and really heavy. I couldn't fit all my books in my bag so I ended up having to carry my books home. Mind this that these books are like really really heavy and it takes me about half an hour to get home. When I get my back home the first thing I do is put down my books. And I have to get a massage for my back because I am carrying so much weight on my back and carrying them by hand. I totally agree with you when you say this torture of carrying textbooks heavier than us back home has to stop. I speak from experience.

Now LKG students also carrying many books to school . i dont know why teachers and schools are doing like this . If this happen continuosly means the students will face some medical problems . My kind advice to schools and teachers dont ask students to bring more books and notes to the school
