I cannot imagine that there are certain health authority becoming so bureaucratic to such an extent where organ recipients need to plea like inmates pleading for parole. How could this be happening? Well, as it turned out a young 22 year old alcoholic who has cirrhosis of the liver has died and it is more disturbing to note the turn of events leading to his death, the health authorities at his end actually denying his liver transplant. Wow! Since when did they come up with such a department within to assess if the sick stricken actually has the right to receive an organ transplant? I just do not feel that this is right and not especially when the candidate can be of such a young age. What gives them the right to rule over such things? Whatever happened that Hippocratic Oath where it reads "I will apply dietic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice" ? I just feel so sorry for this young man and his mother. And I really hope that the medical board there is looking into this University College Hospital in London, who is now taking things way out of hand here. This is just wrong. Do you agree?
