Big vs Small! / myLot

In a relationship, what makes you the happiest? Is it when your partner does big romantic things like weekends away or taking you out places? Or is it the little small things they do that let you know they really care for you and show how much they know you and love you?

I would say it is a combination of both. But when it comes down to it, I think the small things really make a difference, not just saying he cares about me but doing things like opening the door or leaving me little notes saying hi and that he loves me. Lately a guy I care about has been sending me txt messages to keep me awake while at work (I work mid-nights)

i perfer the small things, just to let you know he does care. like helping round the house with out making a mess for you to clean up.

Its definitely the small things i prefer. I dislike alot of change etc. So something big would be more of a shock too.
