who wears the trousers in your home and why??

Both of us, I believe a husband and wife that make decisions together are more likely to stay together and have a happy relationship, rather than one making all the decisions, I think this leads to resentment for the other person not included in the decision making.

Anything small or to do with my boys, Shrek leaves to me. If something is serious or a large expense we discuss it and if neccessary come to a compromise e.g. nearest we can get to what I want for what he wants to pay for it.

In earlier times the man was supposed to be the provider for the family.But now we have micro families and everybody has to wear the trousers to provide in anyway possible.
