Uranium Mining Near The Grand Canyon Risky

Local officials and water experts told the House today. They argue that mining would damage critical water supplies. They used a past mining activity in the Colorado River where streams where polluted. These streams feeds the Colorado River with water. In your own opinion, do you think it would be risky for the Grand Canyon's natural beauty to approve mining?
