Homosexuality is a severe crime in India and now High Court has strongly condemned this law and the law makers in India are working towards repealing this law . i think homosexuality is just a matter of personal taste and personal choice. they have to have equal rights in every way like everyone else. i think the discrimination against homosexuality suffers from ignorance and hipocracy. what do you feel ?

I too have heard that homosexuality is legalized in India. But now y repealing ? Anyways my personal opinion is that, I am straight and won't support it homosexuality. But then it's all up to each individual to decide what kind of physical relationship they want to get hold with. Till now homosexuality hasn't been legalized in my country, Sri Lanka... Happy About it....

I'm not against in homosexuality in the Philippines we are open in homosexuals but marriage with the same gender marriage is not been legalized. In Muslim countries homosexuality is still not allowed. We should open our mind about them discrimination is still there problem. I'm against in same gender marriage but I don't hate homosexuals.

so far my limited knowledge goes homosexuality arises because of hormonal imbalance. it therefore can be considered as a biological disorder. there have also been some surveys that state that majority of homosexuals are induced into it. child molestation and child abuse largely go unreported and therefore cannot be verified. the legal path will be a long one and will have to address forced induction into homosexuality. personally i am against homosexuality. it cannot be justified. what will be next...people marrying their dogs (male/female)???

I agree that its about time that this law was struck down. I do want to point something out however. A lot of people seem to think that homosexuality is a choice. Is being heterosexual a choice? Being homosexual is an orientation that the person has. They simply are that way. It isn't a choice, like fashion or what kind of car you drive. It has to do with how a person is.

I've been following this for WEEKS! I watch hindi news and get most of it without even understanding what they are saying. (Wish I spoke hindi) Well, as for the discrimination being because of ignorance - I agree. However, if homosexuality is legalized everywhere - there will be something new that will pop up and be discriminated against. It's just the world we live in.
