You can impress her by starting to discuss the topics, subject she is interested in, like music, her favorite band, books, movies and places. Perhaps if she is the intellectual type, you may discuss with her the culture of various countries. That would be interesting. Don't push it too far. Find time to know her likes and dislikes. That way, you will find it easier to impress her and how to avoid to disappoint her. If she doesn't like a gift, perhaps, yes you may take her out to dinner with music in the air. Isn't that romantic?
