Are you more a wife/hubby or a mother/father?

You know how it is... Girlfriend/Boyfriend....than wife/husband....than mother/father... It was relatively easy to play the role earlier, since there was only one of concern to the other party...but once the kids come, and you have to play 2 roles at home, which one is the more dominant? How often do you leave the kids with your/his family members or a good caretaker and go off on a date? How often do you plan holidays and then take care that your kids left at home are in good hands? or Do you bring them everywhere? THere really is no need for you and hubby to spend time alone much. Admittedly, there will always be a need for mums (don't know about dads) to get away from the kids....they drive her insanely mad...but those times don't count. I am talking about times when you choose one against the other.
