my neighbor was admitted in the hospital for about a week due to a stroke from hypertension. he was not able to talk and eat anymore, the doctor would make tube from his nose just to pass liquids to his hungry stomach. i couldn't believe that he has an illness because it seems that he was physically fit. so let us just be careful with our health, especially our blood pressure, because hypertension is a silent killer.

My mom has chronic hypertension too and had suffered from mild stroke once. 3 years ago, she had her first major attack, making her comatose for 3 long days. She was admitted in the hospital for 8 days! It was one of the toughest times in life now. Gladly, my mom survived!
True that hypertension is a silent killer, but it is a condition that can be controlled since it belongs to the lifestyle diseases. Medications, diet, exercise and a stress-free life could help one control his or her hypertension.
We pray for the recovery of your neighbor. Happy mylotting!

SYMPTOMS OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
High blood pressure is often ASYMPTOMATIC. People with ‘severe’ high blood pressure may experience the following symptoms:
Dizziness
Flushed face
Nervousness
Headache
Sudden sensation of heat
Fatigue and weakness
Restlessness
Difficulty breathing
Nose bleed
Insomnia
Intestinal complaints
Emotional instability
Palpitation
Bloated stomach
Frequent or difficult urination
Eyes not focused, blurred vision
Primary hypertension is often asymptomatic until complications develop, such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure.
Change your life style... proper diet and be active... go for walks.... All this will keep you smiling fit for years!
