cool like the otherside of the pillow :)

So here's a question i have always wondered?
why exactly is the other side of the pillow always cold or cool....
you think that laying on the top half would just automatically make the otherside atleast a littl bit warm or something but many times during the night i flip my pillow if i start to get hot and it is always cool and refreshing! why? haha not that i'm complaining i just want an answer... what are your theories or feelings on the subject?

Hmm, I honestly don't know. I've never really given it very much thought before, but you do pose an interesting question. I think maybe it's because your body heat warms the pillow on the upward facing side and because no body heat is coming in contact with the downward facing side it is cooler. That's the only explanation I can come up with, but it's just my thoughts on the matter.

haha yeah that sounds like a good reason i guess somethings can never exactly be explained.

haha yeah i think the other side of the pillow is a blessing i don't know what i'd do without the cool side it helps me sleep better when i'm tossing and turning because of the summer heat. :)

Good question, and I'm sure you've had your answer by now thru the otherw who responded. I just wanted to comment that I too flip my pillow a half dozen times during the night....lol . Thre is nothing like a nice cold pillow to lie on.
