Can we change the course of our destiny?

there is a saying that if you plant an apple seed, not matter what we do, we cannot change its course for that seed is destined to grow into an apple tree and not any other tree. can we apply that principle on humans?

Hi there Jojorv!
I think that we can. With will power, ingenuity, hard work and faith, we can. I don't really believe much in destiny. As Blair Waldorf said, it's an excuse by people who are too lazy to make things happen for them. It's kind of harsh but there's a lot of truth in it.
