some resort with long history,i only like traveling by myself

for the some hot or popular resorts,i would like to make holiday with my family or friends,but for some place where have a long history,i only like going there alone,i need silence and thought in such place,so do you have same feeling like me?

When I went to Guatemala it was amazing to walk through the jungle alone and see the Mayan ruins. It was lovely to hear the wildlife and at times it was silent. It was fascinating to learn about the history of the place. I adore visiting historical sites. One day I hope I will be able to visit Machu Picchu in Peru.
