My avatar has vanished, What happened?

I just noticed my avatar has vanished.
Anyone know why or what happened?
It was a picture of me, not pinched from somewhere.

It happened to me nearly a month back. But I thought as like that we have not save it properly and then again I changed mine.There may be some technical issues behind this.It seems some members are not receiving the email notification regarding the responses to our discussions.It seems my lot sever needs some extra care
