Sleeping is the medicine for all illness?. Am I right? what do you think?. Since If you had headache, you cant concentrate on your work. Isn't it. By that time if you have small sleep for an hour or half an hour, then you get a fresh mind. May I right guys?

It depends on your illness. Also sleep does not always work for headaches. I have some real bad headaches and I can go to bed with a headache and then wake up many hours later with the same headache that is as bad as it was when I went to bed or worse.

I agree with you Ozarkgirl. It really does depend. After all, when we sleep the body does get a chance to repair itself , so to speak.New cells are formed and it may help feel better. But there have been times when I have slept with a headache and gotten up with a worse headache. Not sure why, but that has happened.

I think so to an extent. Today I had a horrible headache that wouldn't go away with ibuprofen. I layed down took a little nap no more then twenty minutes and woke up feeling so much better.

Personally, I think that sleeping can help when you caught certain illnesses, like the cold, or something like that. However, I don't think that it can help you all the time. It depends on what you have really. Sleeping and resting can't always help, when you're sick.

I wouldn't says that sleeping is the medicine for all illness. Sometimes people like myself get a headache from allergies so if you take a nap and you still wake up from it then you know it isn't going to go away with the correct medicine and that is not sleeping. Sometimes you have to take medicine for things to go away. Like today i had bad allergies, but no headache and could not stop sneezing or blowing my nose and the same thing happened yesterday so i knew what i had to do. That was to go outside and breath the fresh air plus take two different nasal sprays and allergy medication. If I'm over worked and tired then i take a nap and i can be refreshed to start a new mylot discussion or even start a new article for a writing company. Depends on why i need a nap though.

Sleep usually helps make my headaches better. If I am sick, I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. Sleep helps me feel better when I am sick. I wouldn't say it's the best medicine but it definitely helps. I usually feel rejuvenated when I wake up from a nap and I am ready to start doing something.

Sleeping definitely helps me to relax my body and not put stress on it so that I can get better faster. Most of the time my headaches go away when I take a nap, but not always. But, sleeping is probably one of my favorite remedies for colds, headaches, or anything else that is minor.
