How Do You Deal With A Break Up With Your Lover?

I have been with the first love of my life ever since and still going strong even after 3 years, I am just wondering, because obviously I haven't been through one and I don't believe I will ever face it in my life but for those who have had break ups, how did you deal with it and how did you overcome the situation?

When I broke up with my last boyfriend (also my first boyfriend) I cried so much. I felt hurt, betrayed, stupid. I didn't even want to get out of bed, i thought I would never find anyone else...but I did. It just took awhile.

Damn that must have been a bad experience for you as it was your first break up, but am glad youve got over it and now have someone else to comfort and cherish you.
