A common refrain overheard across the globe is my........ is the best. The missing space could be children, parents,......etc. But I feel comparisons are never on for everything has its positives and negatives and its ambient situations and circumstances. So what is your take on this?

Comparisons can be bad. There's an old little song that goes like this "I can do anything better than you "no you can't" "Yes I can"... it goes on. That's not the beginning of the song but I can't remember the beginning word for word. In any case, It's a fight over who can do something better.
I agree, there's a good and bad side, there's people who can and can't do something as good as another... Everyone has their talents, and making others weaknesses known is only a way to have their weaknesses seem like strengths...
