Can you earn much in rapidshare..

I saw a lot of free downloads in youtube coming from rapidshare..
i wonder why most of them use rapidshare.. and found out that they will be given points in every person that download there file from rapidshare..
but im wondering do rapidshare exchange these points you gain into cash?
and can you earn a lot in rapidshare?

I don't think you can exchange the rapidshare points for cash but you can use that points to upgrade and have a premium account.

i guess so.. but why do these uploaders choose rapidshare to upload their files
if you dont even get to convert their point to cash..
because most of these uploaders wants to earn points..
i even saw a video in youtube about boosting your points in rapidshare..
but what is the big reason why you need to boost your rapidshare points without getting anything just points..
