I feel the same way... I usually feel that way when there are too many things to do, so little time and then you feel you do all the things you can but other things are demanded of you, you cannot concentrate. I wish to concentrate on one thing but people come and go and you need to cater to them first. Then what you planned for the day isn't done the way you want it to be. When so many things has to be done and you are only one to do them, then you ask other people to give you a hand but they can't or won't. Then you feel helpless, things seem to be way over your head, then boredom sets in. *sigh* I need a break but things won't improve.... then so what?... I can't concentrate anyway. I take a day or two of leave from work, just blank myself from workload, after that I mostly feel refreshed and ready to face heaps and pile of work. If I cannot take a leave then I ask a friend, just to eat outside or just an hour of window shopping.. Anything to get a break from the monotony of work.

Yes, sometimes I wanted to lay around and do nothing, or going to palces that I like without feeling having the obligations to work, but when I think about money and my responsibilities and my dreams, I cannot be lazy. I had to fight the feeling. But sometimes, I do the need to just sit without do nothing. It gives time for me relax and breath.

I felt the same way whenever I used to have to go out and clock in somewhere to work. I actually had started my own business at 15 because I didn't like working outside the home (which I had started at 14). Once my business became profitable enough, I just kept that, and now I have the income from that and some part-time work at home charity work that I do. My problem was that I got bored too easily working for other companies. I wanted to only put the hours into my work that I needed to. My suggestion to you would be to look for other options...starting a business isn't for everyone but I had the motivation to do it back then, and am so grateful I had! Or you could look for a job in another career field where you can use some of your skills...switching it up like that sometimes really helps. Good luck! :)

I know what you mean! I have a really boring job & I do not have a window in my office. I need to move my desk to the other side of my office so I can see out my doorway & then I could see out the front window. Today it seemed like one person at work always wanted me to do something for him & he wanted it done RIGHT THEN! It didn't matter that I was already doing something. He thought he was more important! That is when I make mistakes because I have to stop doing one job & then forget what else needs to be done when I go back to that task.
