Bring Me To Life

The first Evanescence song most people heard was "Bring Me To Life". It was pretty popular and got a lot of radio play. So was this the song that introduced you to Evanescence? Or did you know of them before or found out from something else? Did you first like them from this song, or do you think their other songs are better?

Hi Anna,
I Love Evanescence and Amy Lee's voice! That debut album was stunning I remember passing my driving test and listening to that album whenever I was in the car! :D
On youtube there are lots of acoustic's of their songs if you want to hear Amy singing them slightly differently. I also strongly recommend 'Broken' to anyone out there. As I absolutely love it!! :D

"Bring Me To Life" was in fact the first song of theirs I heard, on the radio of course. I was immediately captivated by Amy's voice and bought Fallen the next day. Since then, I've purchased The Open Door and borrowed Origins from a friend.
While I like almost all of their music, I found "Call Me When You're Sober" to be wearing after a few dozen listens. Which, of course, was hard to avoid with it being the new single on the radio everywhere. My favorite songs have to be "Like You" and "Lacrymosa" though.
