unable to login facebook from office :(

every time i try to login to facebook from my office the main login page opens but when i enter my email and password and click sign in i get the following error
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage:
most likely causes:
You are not connected to internet
The website is encountering problems
There might be typing error"
i am connected to internet because i can browse all other sites, website is not encountering problem because i can access my fb account on gprs and thirdly their aint any typing error
can somebody help me with this problem?

I am having problems with Facebook and a few other sites these few days. Perhaps we are on the same boat. However, I am still able to log in, although the page is not displayed properly.
Have you checked wit your management? Maybe it has blocked Facebook from being used during office hours? If you still want to, perhaps you can try some free proxies that can help you to bypass the blocks. Or you can try the software ultrasurf.

i have already tried logging in with different proxy sites but in vain......i will give ultra surf a try

if you are working in the office, maybe the staff blocked the site in that area to prevent distraction from work. how long that you haven't been log-in there.

i dont think that the admin has blocked it because firstly i can open the login page but when i enter my email and pass it give the above mentioend error and secondly there are other computers within the office on which i can login my account but not on mine :(
