Hi All, The success in marriage depends upon the trust between both wife and husband. It is always better to tell about pre-marital relationship to would be life partner in order to gain mutual trust. As we say "HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY" If anyone having pre marriage relationship, whether it should be told to his/her spouse?

Honesty is the best policy definately if truth is the path of your life. It does allow one to start all afresh forgetting the past. Sometimes its better to forget and erase some relations before marriage and not mention them to our spouse as it could be related later to our lifes when in depression or in trouble. So i feel the bad past can never make a good future such things should be erased completely before stepping into a new relationship like marriage.

Yes you are right theoritically, but in practical depends on the situations. Because if your pre-marriage relationship was too deep, that might hurt your better half, and something will be always there itching him/her. So sometimes it is better to forget everything you have before marriage and not to share. This you will be doing for not hurting your better half and then you can use this saying " Telling lie is better than telling truth and hurt someone." My views.
