(Riddle) Saloon Gambler - Who can get this one?

A saloon gambler produces three cards and challenges the other customers to a wager. The first card is red on both sides, the second is red on one side and white on the other and the third is white on both sides. He places a card on the table with the red side showing and says, "This can't be the white/white card so the other side must be red or white. That makes it an even money bet. I'll bet $10 against your $10 on the color of the other side."
What are the true odds of the gambler winning?

If you listen to what he says carefully you can win. he has already said its not a white / white card so there are jus 2 options. It can either be the red / white or the red / red. so the chances of him winning are 50:50
