Are leaders born or made?

Leadership is a very common topic. Many people wants to be leaders. In the government, at work, in school and even at home. Leaders are recognized, respected, and has many benefits and priviledges. Leadership is like synonymous to prestige. But do we all have what it takes to be a leader? Is it some kind of divine calling that only few got. Is it a by-product of our choices? Or are we at the mercy of a group of peoples decision? Is it a result of our many experiences and even our availability? Do you get it upon finishing a special training or education? Do share your opinion on this...

"Leaders are born & celebrities are created". This will be what I'll tell you. To become a good leader, you should have the leadership qualities in you which can be later polished. When I took up the post as a school sports captain, they selected me seeing my leadership qualities & not just purely because of my talent. Also the same was in college & when I went to work, It didn't took me long to become a team leader. So I believe performance with leadership qualities will make you a leader where ever you go & the other will follow the footsteps of the leader. I would say that everyone is leader because its you who led yourself till your computer & its you who led yourself to myLot. think positive in life & you will find nothing other than success. I believe leaders are born. They can be made with lots of encouragement and positive energy.
