We all agree that Michael Jackson have been a great singer if not to greatest singer of pop for many decades. I grow up with Michael music, no singer have made such big impression than Michael in my life. Michael's music had the ability to touch souls, it touched many people in different ways they said. However even if Michael stopped coming on with new songs since 10 years from now,now that he is gone we feel the emptiness ruling around the musical wold like he was nourishing is fans with new releases every months. Magical!! But I thing that Michael's voice didn't do the trick by itself neither did is great entertainer skills but the fact that he became "white" allowing him to break the barrier of color. Think about it,A black man into a white body doing things that only a black would grow up to do and only a white man could interpret with such success... now the wold have evolve to know better and human are making progress to mostly accept one another difference but let's not forgot that Michael legacy started a long time ago...did Michael had to change color? what made his musics so appealing? was he really the greatest? what do you understand about Michael success?

I believe he was sick with vitiligo, there was loss of pigment in his skin. That is why his color turned into white. But just like one of the respondents had said, color of the skin had nothing to do with it. His legacy was his music and was the best in his generation. It is just sad that we do not anymore hear music like his. Only his memories will live in our lives.

Yes that is why his skin color changed because he had a cream to rub on to cover the spots. His dermagolist was talking about it a few weeks ago. His whole body was spotted, so it was easier to cover up the dark spot with a cream because there was more white spots than darker ones.

Michael Jackson was the greatest because he sang songs and danced from deep within his heart and soul what he felt. His skin color happened because of a skin disease. He tried to bring people together with his music because Michael was born with an old soul and he had nothing but love for all people. That is why so many people feel lost knowing he his no longer living on earth. Its been over a month now that he has passed and I still can't fathom that this has happened. Its so heartbreaking to me. I wish there were more people really looking out for him as a person than after his money. If that was the case he would probably still be with us.

Michael Jackson was the greatest musician ever. His singing was excellent and his dancing was amazing. He was such a very talented and he showed much spirit in had superb music. My favorite tune ever is 'Thriller' and I know nothing will ever be as great. He has a skin condition that made white patches in his skin. He carefully went with that to totally change from black to white. I will never forget Michael Jackson who was king of the Pop.

Yes he have to change his color because mostly people like beautiful man and singer in the world people want beautiful person.His music and his dance made him great.

Michael Jackson was one of if not THE greatest pop artist to have ever lived. I love his music and dancing. Yeah, he made mistakes throughout his life, but who hasn't?? Who am I to judge? I didn't know him as a person, I knew his music, and that's what I loved.

Hi Philippe.Michael Jackson's voice was a god gift for him.His success is far beyond his skin colour.He had given superhits like Thriller and Beat It,with a dark skin.It was all about his silken voice and his innovation,that he bought in his music.My heart cries for him.His smile was so cute.His talks were so humble.May his soul be at rest.
