Rewarded for working less?

What do you think about medicaid, food stamps or any other government run project where people will work less just to qualify so they can get the extra benefits?

They are all good projects as long as the people that are getting them really do need them. I don’t think that people that do not work just to get those benefits should get them they should actually work. But I know that there are people that do need any kind of help they can get and it is sad to know that people that are able to do it on their own are taking advantage of this projects.

I don't think that it is right for a person to work less just so they get more benefits for welfare, but then I also don't think that anyone should starve. Lets say that there is a mother of 3 and if she works 40 hours a week and her pay is just enough to pay her bills. Since she works full-time she makes to much to get food stamps. With no money left over to be able to buy food for her and her kids what is she supposed to do to get food? There are some circumstances that people should get help. I don't agree with the people that sit one their butt popping kids out left and right so they can get more from the benefits. I also think that everyone has a right to have some type of health insurance. I think the doctors in today's society forgot why they went into that field. Most went into it to help people. It's pretty sad when people get turned away cause they don't have health insurance, or the money to pay for the visit up front.

Is it the doctors who forgot why they went in to the field? Or is it the trial lawyers with all their frivolous lawsuits that force doctors to have insane liability insurance to protect themselves? Can you guess who ultimately pays for their high insurance costs?

It is not right for anyone to do that, and the only ones that would do that are the ones that are not able to make that much in the first place. Somebody that is making enough to support their family would not do that because they get more by working.
