Classical Music- Indian Classicial

How many of you are aware of Indian classical music? Which musician you like most. What is your favourite Raga? How is it sung..give the notes too.
I love Pandit Bheem Sen Joshi's Voice. Other than classical, I like Gazzals. Best Rag I find in Indian music is Bhairwi. It is sung in late night. Its melodious tunes, reach core of heart, enlightening darkness of night with sweet urge to sing with the tunes.

I like listening to classical music. That's my way of relaxation in the evenings after I get back home from the long stressful day at work. I have a collection of CDs of classical music. I like classicals of other countries too, Japanese, Indian, Chinese. I was in India once, and oh so enchanting to listen to Indian classical music. Very unique and very beautiful !
