Should your child come home claiming that the teacher hates me" do not just ignore the comment; discuss sympathetically with your child to situation in order to get at the facts. It may be true that children exaggerate, and the teacher may be having a particularly bad day. Also there are personality conflicts which can exist between children and adults. In any event your child requires your help and your support. What ever you do do not storm into the classroom. First write a note politely asking for a meeting and indicating what you do is you want to discuss with the teacher. In the meeting you should focus on identifying your child's particular problem and try to solve it but do not focus on what you might consider the teacher is doing wrong. It might also be a good idea to have a child present at least during a part of your meeting. At this point if the situation and still does not get after you might ask to see the school counselor or even the principal. Should you decide to simply drop the whole thing make sure your child knows that you are backing off for the purposes of letting the dust settle and listening time pass to see if things naturally get better. If within a reasonable amount of time the situation is not improved don't give up. Start the process over again until it is resolved according to your and your child's satisfaction.

As a teenager in high school, i had many teachers that i had problems with and just had to explain to my mom why my grades were so bad. So then the next day my mother asked to have a meeting with those teaches and then the next day i was in different classes. I will never forget the math teacher i had that was the worst pervert of all and was just so weird, that i got switched in a teachers class that i had not so many friends in, therefor i was able to concentrate and get help on it and the teacher was a lot better teacher and explained things better also. Even though my ex boyfriend was in that class it didn't bother me and we got along great. I also had a history teacher that didn't teach at all, but just sit at his desk and i had a problem with that because he just wanted to play history videos and for me that was not good as i would fall asleep because the videos were boring to me and i hated that, so therefor i got switched into a different class that i actually passed. Listening to your kids is a must thing when it comes to school and trying to have them pass is a good thing, but always talk to them and make sure everything is going alright at school.
