BMW To Quit Formula One

BMW today announced that they were quitting Formula One at the end of this season. the German manufacturer said that "developments in motorsport" was their reason for quitting the sport. I wonder if another team will come in and replace them or if they will stick with the teams already committed to next year?

sad to hear that, BMW did a good job in last season. This year like other big budget team even BMW couldnt do well, I'll just hope to see them continue in next season as well.

I think the way the world's economy is at the moment they just cannot afford it. It would not surprise me to see other teams leaving the sport either. Thanks for your reply.
