Do you feel left out when you comment on a discussion and the discussion creator replies to almost every reply on their topic, except for your response? Sometimes I do, but it seems dumb, because I have probably done it before, since replying to everyone can be pretty repetitive and you end up saying the same thing over and over again, but nonetheless you still kind of feel left out. How about you? Do you feel left out when you are "excluded" from being responded to?

Makes no difference to me... However, what bugs me is when comments are left that attack the responder purely because the discussion creator is of the opinion that his/her sh!t don't stink... It's especially annoying when they ask for the opinions of others, and decide that everyone not in agreement is wrong... Then there are those who start discussions, and never reply to comments to their discussions... they stink even more... ^_^

...and here's the part to discussions that makes me nervous sometimes... if I don't comment on your comment on my comment on your discussion, does that give you the impression that I merely commented on your discussion in order to add one to my participation? What if you comment on this comment? Do I acknowledge your comment by commenting on that comment? Anyway, I think there's been enough comments in this comment... ^_^

yeah haha, gotta love when you don't agree with the discussion starter then you get rated down for disagreeing, because they are ALWAYS right lol. It is good to reply to at least a few people in your own discussion, I feel like I am not appreciating people the right way when I start a discussion and just not discuss anything, what is a discussion without at least a little back and forth discussing? A discussion doesn't start and end after you post the topic.

That is a good way to look at it, that is usually how I think, but sometimes I kind of feel awkward being the only one left out, makes you question if you said something not very interesting or something.

hey im new on mylot..........so i dont get responses to my discussons lol........i guess i dont have many frnds here yet.......so tht way i feel left out and abt ur q i guess wat u say is rite .........but u shldnt let such small things kind of bog u down.........have a nice day

Well welcome to mylot, I am sure we will all warm up to you eventually if we haven't already, we are pretty good about being welcoming and nice to all, but maybe you sometimes feel left out not having previous experience sharing with mylot members. Good luck and happy mylotting!
