Which is the best antivirus in your opinion?I have recently come to the conclusion that I must buy an original anti virus. So I am asking for your opinions. Which is the best? And please if you can mention the price of the software. Thanks in advance

I am not relaying any single anti virus software for my computer. If I need, I will uninstall the existing one and install the another software and scan the system. I have even tried with three or four software . Even after this, we are not able to remove the virus entirely and we are in the need of formatting the system. If you want to buy a licenses copy of the software, choose the one which consume less resource of your sytems and this depends on our RAM capacity also.Kasperskey , Avast are taking less momory when compared to the others. But McAfee is the only software which stop us from doing anything while the scan or update process is going on. If we want to install this, then we need to have at least 2GB RAM.

Drop in to Safe-mode and run your anti-virus & anti-spyware. If you're still having trouble getting rid of the pest, connect the harddisk as a slave to another PC and scan the slaved harddisk from that computer - you can remove the virus that way in its dormant state... ^_^

You can have a look at the product of ESET. You can ESET Nod32 or ESET Smart Security, I been using it for so long and it's the best antivirus for me. You can register to its website for a trial period, you will surely love it.

I agree with you, I'm also using ESET and I say that it really provides the security you need and it doesn't slow down your computer while your surfing the internet. Aside from that it's free. happy mylotting

Symantec Endpoint. For me this is the best so far, it consumes less resources, and provide through protection to your PC and OS.

I really haven't tried buying an anti virus program. AVG free is good, maybe then it's safe to say that the paid version would be better? Avira is good as well

I love avast ....its just great the main reason is its boot time scanning....some virus es corrupt the exe files of your computers....that includes the exe of your anti virus too...sometimes the explorer gets affected by virus and starts doing funny things....to solve all this avast has a option called boot scan....which can fix almost anything....it also detects the virus automatically when you connect a pen-drive or download from the net....it detects the virus's by itself.... no need to scan them separately .

I've used AVG for a long time and so far Ive never had a problem. The free version provides a good anti-virus/spyware aspect, and I think the pro is perhaps $30? but i thas a lot more benefits. Ive used the free AVG for years with no virus related problems on 3 computers.
