Do you still pick your nose at times?

Sometimes walking on the street we see some people, mostly men, picking their nose. They seem so comitted to stuffing their fingers in there that I'm pretty certain that some of them have at times, reached their brains. (If only the egiptians had known about the existence of these persons, it would m,ake the process of mumification much simpler...
This is, I think, very disgusting, and I've nagged at some of my friends for doing such in my presence...
However, I was sitting quietly at home the other day and found myself picking my own nose... Maybe it's something that sticks with us from childhood.
Do you ever pick your nose?

Hello Catarina!
I love this topic. Picking my nose in public is a big no no for me. I think it is a turn off. And if I could see someone picking his or her nose in public, all I could say is "eewwww".
Well it is not bad, it's just that it is not nice to look at.If there is a need for me to pick my nose, I do it privately like in the toilet. It is too private for me.
But others have it as their habit. My mother always picks her nose everytime she is idle, or when she is watching tv. Although it is not nice to look at , but I just correct or remind her once in awhile.

It's not a dirty thing to do, at all... We all do it, we all NEED to do it because we nedd a clean nose to breath...
It's just not nice to do it in front of other people, it's a nasty sight and a private procedure...
I don't want to see anyone taking a shower either!

This is very funny. You have to clean your nose once in a while, a lot of 'dust' gathered in there, but never do it in front of other people because it is disgusting to see.
My ex boyfriend liked to pick his nose at ALL times, I wonder why he has to 'clean' it that often and I hated it so much to the extent that I will get angry when he did that.

rightfully so! no one needs to see the cleaning taking place right?
maybe you should have got him a tissue so at least he wasn't stuffing his finger in there...
gross, and some of those people just clean their fingers in their clothes... very yuky isn't it?

hi catarina! interesting topic you have here! well, if you must ask sometimes i do pick my nose. whenever i have something on it, i can't help but pick my nose. however, i do not do it in public. picking my nose though is a last resort. most often, i would rather go to the bathroom and blow my nose. however, if it doesn't work then i go some place private and pick my nose.

I guess we all do it, don't we? I mean, you need to breath!
But, privacy is definetly key when doing it!

Ha ha.. Thats really funny. I do have that habit during my childhood. But now at some times I too do it after bath. I also think the same way it would have come from our chilhood. Completely a different discussion. LOL.... Cheers. Happy lotting.
