Hi there, I'd like to buy some new stuff but I am a little bit short on money. Therefore I was thinking about paying in instalments but I heard a lot of risks are attached to it. Such as huge interests and fines when you don't pay on time. What is your experience with this payment option and how does it work? Thanks in advance.

I have not faced such kind of installments but thats for sure that you will be charged with high interest . the better option is to wait for some time gather good money and then bye what ever you wish to this will be the best i feel.

There are some advantages though. Including not having to wait. Spread payment and thus having more money left on a monthly basis to buy other stuff. I think it also depends on the company's conditions of course. ;)

Hi, there are some companies that accept monthly installments but you need to check all the facts in before deciding to do so. There are some who charge interest while others don't do that especially at this time of recession. You will need to make a direct payment, that is, agree on a date to effect payment every month. Try not to be late on payment otherwise you will break the confidence with the seller and you need to see if there are any charges for late payments. This type of sale has advantage for both the buyer and the seller. The seller is agreeing to giving you an object in which he has invested and will not receive his money in full but in installments so you need to at least keep to the agreement and get your purchase without having paid for it in full as yet.
