Should we tell the truth always?

What's so good about the lies about gifts is that the truth does come out when they open the gifts. I remember keeping the secret that both my sister and my mom were getting each other a tea set.They were so surprised I didn't say a word.

Yes!That can't be taken as a lie if it comes to surprise before gifts.In fact it is not a lie but holding the truth for a little time and once the wrappers are opened,the gift speaks for itself.Sure,it will be a nice surprise if we allow things to reveal themselves.Nothing can be counted lie in that case.Cheers!

An occassional liar will not harm anybody.But some people can't speak other than lies.They have to suffer a lot to maintain the tempo.So,they start telling lies after lies,making a mountain out of a mole.But that should come out of nature and an average man cannot be wise to remember all the lies he had told.In that case,it will be relieving,if we tell the truth always.And I agree that to maintain a suspense we can hide the truth for a little time.Cheers!

Everybody is taught that moral of not telling lies.There are more stories supporting that.But we can be innocent like that when we are young.Grown up,we have to tell some sweet lies to live up against the restrictions imposed by the elders.Sometimes the elders teach us morals and live against it.So,we are confused about it.To sum up,we all say some lies here and there.Unless it is not harming others,it is not to be worried.But we need not reveal all the truths we know.that will not be appreciated either.Cheers!

Yes!We need not tell all the truths we know to everybody.That will make things worse and you will not be seen as a reliable person anymore and you will not have friends at all.it will be better if we can warn the persons involved and that too if they will consider us with concern.Otherwise forgetting the truths about them is the good thing,we can do for us.Cheers!

It will be better if you put it to save others.Telling lies for our sake cannot be justified.But it is needed sometimes too.Because there will be some people who will not be ready to listen to our explanations and what they want is just a convincing answer.In that case we are left with no options other than to lie,to escape.Cheers!

Yes!We can be aware of the ways in telling anything without hurting others.That is right.But even then sometimes a truth should be hidden which doesn't mean we have to lie.Just be neutral and let them learn it themselves.It should not be counted as a lie,is my argument.Cheers!

Yes!People interact statements as they like to have it and miss the original essence.I think we can hide the truth so that nobody will get hurt.But you insist of telling the truth in someway or other but not a lie.A point to seriously ponder on.Thanks for sharing your views.have you faced any situation like that?
