I tried to do a movie marathon yesterday, I wanted to find out how many movies I can watch in one sitting. I started late in the evening that's why I'm only able to watch 3 movies, after that my eyes really feel tired. How about you? Can you watch 3 movies in a row? or more than that?

Dear jenkye03, My hubby, my son and I have done a 'eating-thon' and a 'movie-thon' on the same day! That morning we went to the cinema and booked all the tickets for the movies that we wanted to watch giving 20 minutes apart in case the movie finishes later than expected. We started with 1) Monters House (animation), 2) Ants Bully (animation) 3) Mitress of Spices (movie - cast : Aishwarya Rai) 4) Garfield 2 (Animation) In actual fact we wanted to watch another movie, but my hubby said it was quite late, need to eat.... We just switched from one cinema hall to the next.. We brought in some snacks to eat...after the movies we went for food..from one restaurant to the next in the same shopping mall! Do keep in touch and happy myLotting!

Wow that's nice. Sometimes we do watch movies with the family. On Sunday my sisters and I went to supermarket, buy chips and frech fries for our movie trip at home. But now days are busy coz of school that's why we don't have much time for this. Hmmmm.. I missed that.. Thanks for responding! ^^

Hey I like watching Hindi movies, my friend recommended that I should try watching Hindi movies. I already watched Dostana, Vivah and Fanaa. I really like the story of Fanaa and I was amazed and been in love with the lines. So romantic. I cried at the end. ^^

before kids my husband and I would take a day and just watch movies all day long and do other fun couple things but now it takes us 4 hours just to watch a movie so we dont' do it much anymore.

Yeah, we also do watch movie with all my family but now we don't have time. I remember its hard for us to choose what movie to watch together coz my dad wants action, my mom wants romantic drama, my sisters want comedy and my brother wants cartoons. whew, that's why we always have the hard time to agree on one movie that we can watch. ^^

I'm not sure how many movies I can watch in one sitting, but I guess I can watch 2 movies in a row because I have done this. There is one time that I watched TV series for 9 hours straight and it was repeat, but I haven't seen any episode of it and I'm just doing channel surfing and find this reality show, lol.

Ohhh.. I feel bored when I watch TV series I dunno why. Maybe I still like watching tv shows bit by bit so excitement would still be there. lol. ^^

Hey cool, when I watch movie I want to finish it because I don't like to stop and then continue it another time coz I find it hard to recall the storyline and my interest to the movie might be gone.

well, i really havent tried sitting through many movies without a break but i can certainly watch 4-6 movies in a day with 5-15 min breaks in between them. but in one sitting... i dont think my eyes and brain would let me watch more than 3 movies in a row.

Yeah, after watching 3 movies in a row I feel tired and sleepy after that. Plus I watched in the evening that's why I immediately fell asleep after the 'no-break movie marathon'; now I don't know if I can watch a movie series like Harry Potter.

Hi there! If I wish to enjoy, I just need to watch only one movie running for full three hours. I cannot concentrate on more than one movie and even if I see, I won't enjoy the same and won't be able to remember all the happenings in the movies........LOL!

It depends. I rarely do a movie marathon where all I do is watch movies and nothing else but on the rare occassion that I do I have managed to do 5 movies in a row but usually it's around 3 before I feel the urge to do something different. But if I am watching movies whilst doing other things like working on the pc then I can watch one after the other for the whole day. My last record was to watch 9 movies in a day whilst working online.

Well it depends on the movies, obviously. Assuming the movies are approx. 90 minutes in length (Standard feature length) I can watch about 10 before needing a extra long break. I really love movies though, so that's definitely a factor.

I could watch 4 movies in a row, but got very tired after that. I only do that once in a holiday. Now, mostly I could watch only 2 movies in a row.

oh wow.. you actually watched the whole series of harry potter in one sitting? well that's incredible for me, i've tried to watch that but i fell asleep during the half of the movie. i guess hp is not my kind of movie though. i didn't even tried to watch all the series of lord of the rings. but i do like x-men, the last movie of x-men that i am able to see was x-men origin wolverine. cool.. ^^

I have watched 3 movies in one sitting. And that's it after sometime it dawns on you that you are useless!!! I had to jog for an hour to feel better. Sounds weird isn't it?

I am not really a movie person so I could only last through 1 movie and I would probable fall asleep through that one. We just went to a free movie yesterday. It was Hotel for Dogs. I stayed awake for along time but then since the theater was dark it just was the right setting for sleep and that's just what I did. I do not sleep for long because someone always hits me and wakes me up but I do tend to fall asleep at every movie I go to.

The most I ever watched was 3 in a row and the only reason was that I was on a long road trip and it helped pass the time. I still had to take breaks in between, but I don't think I could that unless it was under those types of circumstances.

I love movies. If its a Sunday and I have nothing important to do. The weather is lousy I can watch lifetime movies all day. Nightime is harder for me to keep my eyes open so I can get thru one movie no more than two.

My friends and I used to schedule a movie marathon once a month and we'd rent like 6-8 videos and we'd try to watch them for an entire day, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. But we can only watch 3-4 movies in a row because after that our eyes would tired so we have to rest for awhile, do some stretching etc. Then after an hour or so, we go back to our movie marathon. But if I'm all alone I only manage to watch like a maximum of 2 movies in a row then I have to do something else.
