ear candling, has anyone tried this?

My hearing is getting bad & my husband keeps telling me this. I did go have my hearing checked & was told it is fine. I'm wondering if I have a wax build up in my ears that is causing my hearing loss? I've been to the doctor several times this year, most recently last week. The doctor never says anything about excessive wax in my ears, but then again, I'm not asking about it either. I was wondering if ear candling might help? I would like to hear from people who have had this done & if it helped your hearing. I've checked into it & the cost is about $40 to have it done.
